SHRIVER CENTER SPOTLIGHT is published twice per year by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) at UMASS Medical School. The Shriver Center is dedicated to improving the lives of people with developmental disabilities at all levels. Our mission as a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) is to provide leadership and direction so that individuals with developmental disabilities have the opportunity to make choices and lead safe, healthy, independent and productive lives. We accomplish our mission through training and educational programs, research, information dissemination programs and clinical services.
