Explicit teaching and positive recognition of behavioral norms and routines that promote respectful, consistent classroom environments are effective supports for all students. For students with disabilities, explicit teaching and recognition of classroom rules is a key foundational support for inclusion. This two-day workshop will provide information and strategies on how to develop and implement consistent, positive classroom management practices that result in respectful inclusive classroom environments. The workshop is designed as a turnkey training for those who are responsible for professional development and/or who coach teachers in classroom management practices.
