This group of three modules was designed for individuals and regional groups of Alaskan Community and/or Behavioral Health Aides, as well as perhaps other providers and groups, for either a small group or self-study on Autism Spectrum Disorders. It will help you answer the following 4 questions:1. What is Autism?2. What are the characteristics or behaviors associated with the disability?3. How are young children identified as experiencing Autism and when can this happen?4. How can we as individuals and providers support families and their children who may be showing the first signs of Autism?
