Product Description:

A large (4cm in diameter) smooth muscle tumor was found in the medial aspect of the right kidney in a 54-year-old Caucasian woman with acute hypertension. Clonality assay (HUMARA) showed no evidence of clonal proliferation, and array comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH) analysis failed to identify any copy number genomic change. These findings are consistent with smooth muscle hamartoma, a rare benign renal tumor-like lesion.
