Presented research at the National Association of School Psychologists annual convention entitled Improving Home-School Collaboration in Families of Adolescents with ADHD at the student poster session. Negative experiences with public school systems served to exacerbate parenting stress and included (a) schools not implementing early identification practices, (b) teachers not knowing how or being willing to accommodate students? ADHD-specific needs, and (c) a general lack of communication between school staff and families. 02/25/2011 LEND
