Parent Training Study Puts Nisonger on "Top Ten" List

A team of researchers from The Ohio State University Nisonger Center and Nationwide Children?s Hospital made the Autism Speaks 2009 "Top Ten" List of Achievements in Autism Research. The team worked with colleagues from Indiana University, Yale and the University of Pittsburgh. Their research study concluded that medication and parent training combined are more effective for reducing serious behavioral problems in children with autism than medication alone. The team is part of the Research Units on Pediatric Psychopharmacology Autism Network (or RUPP Autism Network).
