Product Description:
The Paul V. Sherlock Center, the Rhode Island State Improvement Grant, Rhode Island College, and the University of Rhode Island have shared interest in teacher preparation programs which ensure that teacher candidates have both coursework and practicum experiences that prepare them to educate children with disabilities within the context of the general curriculum. To that end, these groups support and develop activities which promote the awareness and use of UDL principles and strategies in Rhode Island. This paper describes the nature and outcomes of our collaborative work.
