Product Description:

Leslie Cohen, JD, Sonoran UCEDD Director was a guest on "Fox-11 Forum," a thirty-minute discussion program airing Sunday, June 12, at 7:30 a.m., on KMSB-TV Fox-11. Host Bob Lee will interview Cohen and Danielle Ayala, a high school student who recently graduated from the UA Sonoran UCEDD's training program, Project SEARCH Arizona, developed in conjunction with UPH and other community partners. Project SEARCH Arizona is a business-led collaboration that enables young adults with disabilities to gain and maintain employment through training and career exploration. Danielle participated in the High School Transition Program at UPH Hospital, where she had internships in radiology, behavioral health services, sterile processing, laboratory and clinics. She currently is seeking a job at a local hospital.
