This poster presentation will present a qualitative interview study exploring the unique phenomenon of racial/ ethnic identity development in adult Korean iinternational adoptees who do not share a physical resemblance with their adoptive parent(s)specifically White American parents. The timeliness of this study is due to the increasingly viable option that transracial international adoption has become for people looking to create their own families.
