Product Description:

The STEP UP to Leadership Notes, a continuation of the TRIAD IDS Youth Notes, is an e-newsletter for youth and young adults with and without disabilities. STEP UP stands for Start Today Empowering Peers through Uniting and Participating. STEP UP Notes includes information on leadership, self-advocacy, transition, health care, education, career and job opportunities, recreational activities, and more. The STEP UP to Leadership Notes recipients do  Receive monthly e-newsletters of the STEP UP to Leadership Notes  Find what is available after high school, such as adult health services, further education, career and job opportunities, military and other transition services  Learn about leadership activities and events  Receive information about advocacy efforts and trainings  Learn ways to stay healthy and active including fun recreational activities  Connect with other youth who are transitioning to adult life and facing the same issues  Have opportunities to share information with others.
