Fiscal Year:
2012

Product Description:
This study compared a well-matched group of adolescents born preterm to adolescents born full-term in a fMRI language processing task. Prematurity modulated the neural activations, particularly when language complexity increased. These findings have implications for the education of children born preterm, even into adolescents.
