Product Description:

A key goal of Healthy People 2010 and 2020 is to reduce disparities between?people with and without disabilities. ?This research used four years of New Mexico BRFSS data to assess whether progress has been made on reducing disparities between people with and without disabilities on four leading health indicators: health status, smoking, obesity,?socio-economic status and employment.? Odd ratios were calculated for the first four health indicators. The analysis indicated that no progress has been made over a decade in reducing disparities in any of these areas.
