Wandering or running away from caregivers is considered normal until about age 4. But preliminary responses to IAN's Elopement and Wandering Questionnaire show that this challenging behavior continues in many older children with ASD. Data collected in this survey will be available to researchers exploring this little-understood behavior in ASD.
