We are seeking copies of current Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for elementary school children (Kindergarten through Grade 8) who have a diagnosis of Down Syndrome and are currently receiving special education services in a Connecticut public elementary school as a child with an intellectual disability. The purpose of this study is to review the supports and services being received by this group of children pursuant to their IEP, including any accommodations or modifications received as well as whether the support of a paraprofessional is recommended.
