Part of Career and Life Studies Certificate (CLSC) program, the postsecondary education program for young adults with intellectual disabilities. Course Description - Course will introduce students to the application of skills through internships in community-based employment settings. Students will practice communication, time management, problem solving, teamwork, and site specific skills while interning. Sites are aligned with student?s career interest, strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Students are required to abide by dress code, hygiene, and attendance regulations. The successful completion of Employability 101 will set the foundational skills necessary for CLSC Year 2 internships.
