This is a session of a web-based course designed to enhance practice of early interventionists in the field by providing the current evidence base and recommended practice of early intervention, aligned with the competency-based practicum component of the project. This session described the importance of evidence based practice, second generation research, differing levels of evidence that comprise a research base and tips on critiquing research articles.
