Product Description:

This chapter will highlight the importance of recreation as well as summarize known patterns of recreation and their determinants in those with ASD. In addition, an approach to maximizing recreational engagement in people with ASD where the focus is on remediation of factors hindering participation rather than the impairments will be described. Although most of the information provided in this chapter is applicable to adults, the focus is primarily on the recreational engagement of children with ASD.
