Product Description:

NCCD members collaborated on developing 3 policy briefs as relates to disability policy and legislation in Nebraska with the purpose of informing policy-makers, professionals, legislators, and concerned citizens. The 3 topics selected were education, employment, and healthcare policy. The goal of the briefs was to inform the reader on concerns regarding directions the state has taken in the 3 areas, for example disability unemployment, student safety in schools, and the need for special health protections for individuals with disabilities. The briefs were combined into one document and disseminated; each brief included supporting citations.
