This Spanish version of The Autism Family Resource Booklet was created to help families, who speak only Spanish, understand their child's diagnosis and to connect them with needed resources and supports in their community. Families are given this booklet upon receiving a diagnosis through our clinic. It is recognized that families walk away with many questions and emotions after the assessment process. Our Center promotes family centered practices and this booklet is one way we support the needs of families who have their child evaluated at our clinic. We feel it is important that the needs of families are recognized and responded to with information that is accurate and helpful.
