The publication of the Connecticut Guidelines for a Clinical Diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder is a result of collaborative efforts from multiple stakeholders throughout Connecticut that were initiated under the Connecticut Act Early Project. These Guidelines provide recommendations and guidance for the clinical diagnostic evaluation of children who may have ASD in the State of Connecticut. The purpose of these Guidelines is to provide a consistent and comprehensive source of information for diagnosticians who conduct these evaluations. The Guidelines are also written to support families throughout the diagnostic process.
