Product Description:

Leisure and recreation programs provide a forum to promote and model social inclusion. However, little is known about how programs are utilized or perceived by youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This study aims to describe the perspectives of adolescents with IDD regarding the quality of social interactions experienced within programs. Youth-led recommendations for designing high quality, inclusive programming will be shared.
