Dr. Saxton is a Professor in Pediatrics with the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). Dr. Saxton conducts emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and academic evaluations for children and adolescents. She is also the consulting psychologist to the Cochlear Implant Program. She has also worked in a variety of community, university, school, and hospital-based clinics providing services to children and families. Dr. Saxton's research interests include developmental and educational outcomes for children born prematurely, outcomes for children receiving cochlear implants, children's adjustment to traumatic loss, and the provision of hospital based parental support.
