Kurt Schiferl, B.S.

Kurt Schiferl began working at Center for Disabilities on October 16, 2017 as a Behavioral Specialist. His education background and work experience has been in serving people with intellectual disabilities with 30+ years of experience in the field. Kurt grew up in Davis South Dakota, a small town about 30 miles southwest of Sioux Falls. Kurt has worked in many different capacities in the South Dakota Developmental Center, Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities, and several  different community support providers in the state of South Dakota. Kurt is a Behavioral Specialist in the new Community Supports Behavior Project. He believes that his experience working with people in South Dakota will help him contribute to Centers effort in this area.
