Amy Drayton is from Fargo, North Dakota but moved to Michigan in 2002 for the relatively balmy winters and to work toward her PhD in clinical psychology at Eastern Michigan University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in applied behavior analysis and behavioral pediatrics at University of Nebraska's Munroe-Meyer Institute and a post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. She was then recruited to join the faculty at the University of Michigan Medical School to start an outpatient interdisciplinary pediatric feeding program. Over the years, she expanded the program to include intensive treatment and a prevention program and obtained over $2 million in grants to support quality improvement and research projects in pediatric feeding disorders. She was recently recruited to join the faculty at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Munroe-Meyer Institute and is now the Director of the Pediatric Feeding Department.
