As an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Services Coordinator, Meng McLendon primarily provides AAC and Assistive Technology (AT) support to parents/caregivers, speech-language pathologists, and other service providers working with the early intervention (birth - 3 years) population, and also supports adults with complex communication needs. Before joining the Institute on Disabilities, she worked as an SLP providing direct and indirect services in the school and early intervention settings. Meng received her Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Howard University.Â
