•· Initially joined CED in 2004 as an Information Specialist, was promoted to Public Relations/Dissemination Coordinator then Manager as a result of strong contributions.
•· Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive communications plan for CED, working with the director, programs and other WVU departments as necessary, including the identification of key goals, target audiences and action items to reach key goals
•· Oversee all marketing and communication activities for CED and its programs including print, media, web and social networking.
•· Manage professional staff including one web designer and one graphic designer.
•· Increased dissemination numbers in spite of budget cuts by implementing new online technologies resulting in increased web traffic by 23%.
•· Chaired national workgroup of dissemination coordinators in CED network with members representing disability organizations from 27 states.
•· Editor/writer of quarterly newsletter distributed to 9,000 clients, agencies and families.
•· Conduct recruitment, intake, tuition waivers, orientation and evaluations for approximately 15-20 CED graduate trainees.
•· Coordinate planning, logistics and marketing of conferences, trainings and meetings both in state and nationally
