Dr. Walter Lambert Receives Department of Children and Families’ Lifetime Achievement Award

Dr. Walter Lambert, MD, Medical Director of the Child Protection Team, was honored with the Department of Children and Families’ Lifetime Achievement Award during the 2024 Florida Children & Families Summit held September 4-6.

Dr. Walter Lambert is associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and has been the medical director of the child protective services team at the University of Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital since 1988. Dr. Lambert received his undergraduate degree at Brown University. He earned his MD from the University of Miami School of Medicine, and completed his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
