FREE 1-hour informational video session for educators who work with students diagnosed with ASD
The Center on Disability and Development and the BLINC Lab at Texas A&M University hosted a 1-hour informational session on September 5 for those interested in learning more about ProjectTAPP (Teaching, Autism, and Practitioner Preparation) a FREE training that is tailored for the unique needs of educators who work with students diagnosed with ASD (including: general education teachers, special education teachers, paraprofessionals, specials teachers, administrators, and support staff). The Project TAPP team offers these one to two day workshops at no cost.
This informational session was intended to better communicate the project goals, answer questions, and help us share this opportunity with schools, districts, regions, and or educators who would be interested in participating. Project TAPP Informational Video
Our team provides a series of workshops at no cost, followed by follow-up support, to paraprofessional and teacher teams working with students with autism in Texas.
During follow up, we provide check-ins, resources related to the workshops, and individualized support based on need.
