Zina Brady, PATHS Program Class of 2024

It is an honor to introduce to you Zina Brady, a member of the Fighting Texas A&M PATHS Program class of 2024. Her track that she chose was the Childcare Professional. She came to the PATHS Program from Dickinson, Texas. She earned the Leadership Award for the 2024 class. This award was selected by her fellow classmates based on her leadership abilities. In the PATHS Program Zina was required to complete 480 hours of hands-on service in her field. She did her service at St. Thomas Early Learning Center and was later hired by them.


Zina was very active while being a PATHS student. She volunteered for many different events. She helps at the Special Olympic Fundamentals and she enjoyed interacting with the competitors. She represented the PATHS Program at the Center’s Constituent Advisory Committee (CAC) where she learned about the various programs offered through the Center on Disability and Development. Zina stated that her favorite volunteer opportunity was at Camp Life. She stated that she loved being able to interact with her camper.  Besides the volunteer work, she worked diligently on her assignments. She also completed 902.33 hours of hands-on working experience at her practicum. She gained many independent living skills while volunteering, working, and doing her assignments. With all of the challenges she faced Zina rose to the occasion and graduated Magna Cum Laude. 

Zina has accepted a position with St. Thomas Early Learning Center and will begin work in August 2024. She will be moving permanently to College Station where she will live with her aunt. Her goals for the near future include getting her driver license and having her own apartment. Her big dream for the future is to own her own daycare.  

Zina is a person who shows that having a good work ethics and determination will lead you far in life. She came to the PATHS Program and conquered her goals with grace. She is on the road to success in life. The staff at the PATHS Program wish her well and will miss her greatly.
