Product Description:

CA-LEND faculty, staff and trainees participates in Special Olympics Invitational Summer Games. The Dietetic Internship at UCEDD/CHLA, under the leadership of Hope Wills, RD has been involved with the special Olympics for the past 10 years. Each year, the UCEDD/CA-LEND Dietetic Interns identify key messages for the Health Promotion Campaign. This year, Health Promotion added Mental Health to the list of topics discussed with athletes. Current and past CA-LEND trainees, staff and faculty representing nutrition, psychology, social work and occupational therapy provided athletes with information about supporting a healthy mind and body.
