A clear difference exists between evidence based practice and what has been called evidence based practiceS. The former includes a focus on clinical competence, person-centered vaules, and empirically supported treatments. The latter focuses primarily on the empirically supported treatments. Roundtable discussion at AUCD (led by David Rotholz) considered these issues and how they may be different in special education and adult support environments.
