Training human service supervisors in aspects of positive behavior support: Evaluation of a state-wide, performance-based program. Journal of Positive Behavior Interventions (Reid, Rotholz, Parsons, Morris, Braswell ,Green, & Schell, 2003). 3. Implementing Person-Centered Planning on a Statewide Basis in South Carolina: Leadership, Training and Satisfaction Issues. (Butkus, Rotholz, Lacy, Abery,& Elkin, 2002) 4. A comparison of states' utilization of large residential settings for persons with mental retardation. Mental Retardation, 34(5), 303-311 (Rotholz, & Massey,1996). 5. Functionality of two modes of communication in the community by students with developmental disabilities: A comparison of signing and communication books. Journal of the Association for Persons with Severe Handicaps, 14(3), 227 – 233.(Rotholz, Berkowitz, & Burberry, 1989).

Current Grants and contracts: approximately 4,000,000 in federal and state funding.   One example of past grant: Moseley, C., Rotholz, D.A., & Lakin, K.C. (2005 - 2007). Assessment of Validity and Reliability of Multi-Tiered, Coordinated Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Programs Statewide for SC DDSN. Total award = $300,000, CDR award = $164,688.

Presentations: Over 90 presentations at national and state professional conferences.
