Product Description:

The article describes issues relating to international adoptions. Adoptions of foreign-born children by families in the United States have more than tripled over the past 25 years. These adoptions may raise medical, developmental, psychosocial, and legal concerns. Pediatricians who understand these concerns and are familiar with referral resources can better serve international adoptees and their new found families. The article also touches on adoption of children with special needs and adolescents.
