Definition of nutrition needs for infants and toddlers who received services from Development Center (CEDI). Feeding patterns and menu choices for children are very important in their first years. It's a key issue for good health having breakfast, lunch and healthy snacks through milestones. Healthy menu choices and schedules at early stages promotes children well-being and good nutrition patterns for all children but specially for children with DID. Presentation also discussed key concepts about nutrition like weight, growth, health, energy and disease prevention. Nutritionist also mentioned children with DID main characteristics and the role of the nutrition professional to whom may referred children and families for information, services and recommendations for planning meals appropriate for them.
