Reducing Disability in Dementia - Kansas City (RDAD-KC): Year One Update
Product Description:
Poster presentation describing the results of Year One of the Kansas City Collaborative to Reduce Disability in Alzheimer's Disease (RDAD-KC). The collaborative's goal is to improve access to quality person-centered home and community based services that help persons living with or at high risk of developing Alzheimers disease and related dementias (ADRD) and their caregivers to live independently and safely in their communities. The presentation gave updates on the following outcomes:
1. To increase access to effective care and supportive services to persons living with moderate to severe impairment from ADRD and their caregivers.
2. To improve the quality and effectiveness of programs and services dedicated to individuals aging with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) with ADRD or those at high risk of developing ADRD.
3. To increase access to behavioral symptom management training and expert consultation for family caregivers.
