Product Description:

Several key programs and Centers work to advance the USD Sanford School of Medicine health equity mission. Examples include: 1) the Center for Disabilities which researches and facilitates healthcare transitions in individuals with disabilities; 2) the Childrens World Survey, a global survey of well-being designed to improve childrens health; 3) the SD Biomedical Research Infrastructure Network (BRIN), an NIH-funded effort in partnership with 5 predominantly undergraduate institutions and two tribal colleges; and 4) the Inclusive Science Initiative funded by the Howard Hughes Institute to enhance participation of students from under-represented groups.
