Product Description:
Children treated for brain tumors usually have long-term developmental and cognitive consequences. The most pressing concern is survival, followed by the long-term effects of treatment, which are most often related to treatment with cranial radiation. This study found that cranial radiation is unfortunately necessary to sustain survival. As a result, the long-term cognitive effects remain a concern and intervention for these late effects remains a priority.
