This presentation describes a relationship between treatment of childhood leukemia using high dose methotrexate and the development of criteria consistent with the social-communication dimension of autism spectrum disorder. The study is used as a model for inter professional collaboration across discipline areas to understand connections between disorders that have not previously been linked.
