One of three training curriculum written to provide direct care providers with a basic understanding of the respect, opportunities for interpersonal relationships, and communication that are the basic human rights for people with disabilities. Content for this curriculum was provided by multiple authors - all people with disabilities who contributed their own unique perspectives and experiences about friendship. The exercises included in this curriculum are designed to help providers build the capacity of their staff to support the development of friendships and relationships between people with disabilities and other members of the community.
