Product Description:

This is a motivational videotape for high school students with disabilities. It creats a 'can do' spirit, defines students rights under federal law, establishes best practices for college selection, and encourages self-advocacy. In the words of college students with disabilities who have mastered the challege of postsecondary education, the video guides high school students to the most effective source of support: the campus disability services center. Help Yourself to College runs 19 minutes for showing to students; a following segment (in the same cassette) is an 8-minute segment for professionals who work collaboratively with students.
