Product Description:

The DD Act, since 2000, establishes a Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC) at the UCEDD's. Composed mostly of people with DID, their representatives or relatives, the CAC is a bridge between the university, the IDD and the community. Its role is essential for the IDD functioning and their participation can be a leadership opportunity to be advocates, intercessors and mentors on issues related to DID. These Operating Standards were developed to promote the best practices in their roles at the IDD.
