Social Activities of Non-Institutionalized Adults in the NHIS-D: Gender, Age, and Disability Differences
Product Description:
A brief that compares social activities of adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to those of adults with other types of disabilities. Drawing on data from a special Disability Supplement (NHIS-D) that was added to the National Health Interview Survey conducted by the U.S. Bureau of the Census in 1994-95, the brief also uses inferential statistics to identify factors, including access to transportation and work history, associated with differences in social activity participation.
