Conducted online survey and interviews to gather information about the lived experiences of DSPs during the early phase of the COVID-19 pandemic in DC to inform our training, technical assistance, research, and advocacy at the Georgetown University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (GUCEDD).Results highlighted the juxtaposition between how dedicated DSPs are to their work, and how little they are compensated and feel respected for their essential work.
