Product Description:

Presentation and discussion to students and professionals about social work professional interventions with young people and adults with DD using a qualitative approach. The findings indicated that the diversity model, focused on respect and valuation of human rights, can guide them to long term resilience process. Interventions must be aware of the variety aspects of human being in order to conceive people with DD as individuals with rights, feelings and abilities.
