Presentation and discussion about the analysis of the interactions of mothers and fathers with their children with ID, focusing on certain parental behaviors divided in four domains (affection, responsiveness, encouragement and teaching), identified as promoting children development. The children was between 20-47 months. The main conclusion was that mothers and fathers shows very similar strengths and weakness when interacting with their children with ID during play.
