Product Description:
This article uses contemporary Disability Studies to identify how moderate-severe head injuries (TBIs) become disabilities through daily lives and social interactions. What TBI survivors term life with TBI muddies and multiplies the acronyms original construction as a simple and knowable injury. When complexly embodied and constructed in this way, TBI helps to productively expand the definition of disability to include more complex and invisible conditions like TBI.
