Product Description:
Food rejection is frustrating for many parents, but a picky eater may have an underlying disorder influencing their self-restricting behavior. A child displays sensory food aversion when they refuse to eat age-appropriate foods due to a hyper-awareness, or sensitivity, to particular characteristics of food. Eating is a complex sensory experience, and some of these overwhelming characteristics include taste, texture, smell, color, shape, brand, temperature, and more.
