The presentation was on a study that was done in association with UMKC-IHD and MO Assistive Technology on the impact of robotic pets on older adults and people with disabilities during the pandemic. Adults were provided with interactive Joy for All robotic companion pets during the COVID-19 pandemic to measure how the robotic pets help in reducing loneliness and psychological distress. The outcomes were measured in a pre test and after five weeks post-test.
