The objective the dissertation was to utilize the Theory of Planned Behavior to evaluate the psychosocial determinants associated with intention to social distance to reduce COVID-19 transmission. There were 2 studies. The first study examined social distancing intentions of undergraduate students. The second study used meta-analytic procedures to evaluate the predictive utility of the TPB's main constructs in predicting intention to social distance.
