Product Description:

We analyzed 348 publicly available Google Scholar profiles of special education faculty at 213 US universities. Currently reported author metrics (e.g., citation counts, h-index) advantaged scholars with higher academic rank and those working at universities with higher research activity. Newly proposed metrics revealed more nuanced patterns among scholars that can help contextualize productivity and support career development.
